Pass registration on the Intellect school online web platform

 It is very simple to register on the platform – To do this, select the Login section, then Signup and fill in the fields: name, the surname of the student, email address, create and confirm a password. After filling in all the fields, click on the Signup button. After that, you need to go to your email inbox - in the list of incoming messages you will see a letter from Intellect School and in this email follow the link to confirm registration on the platform. The procedure is quite simple and is no different from the registration process on most sites.

Enter information about the student

After successful registration on the platform, you will see your name in the main menu. Select the My Profile menu item. We fill in the student's personal data - the level of training (class), or courses in the subject.

A very important point is the choice of the time zone in which you live (GMT), since after setting the time zone in the student's profile, you will see the available time in the teacher's schedule, adjusted for your place of residence. If a student under the age of 18 is registered on the platform, fields for entering the data of one of the parents or the legal representative of the minor automatically appear. Next, you need to upload a photo of the student, choose the language in which the training will be conducted, the purpose of the training, the tariff plan and the preferred age of the other students if the classes are group classes. After filling in all the fields, click on the UPDATE button.

 Choose teachers.

 In the "Courses" section you can find teachers by various criteria: subject, language of instruction, class schedule that suits you best, if you click on the link on the teacher's name, you will see detailed information about the teacher, including a video presentation, as well as other data that may be useful to you when choosing a teacher. Each teacher’s profile has a testimonial section, perhaps reading the testimonials will also help you to make the right choice. If you have registered on our platform as a home schooler in accordance with the selected tuition rate, then in the "Courses" section, first of all, you should pay attention to which teachershave the inscription Intellect School Team on their presentation card. The cost of an hour of training is not indicated for them and you can safely choose them and immediately go to the schedule of classes without payment, since you paid for the training on the Invoice as a home schooler.

Pay for the course.

After you have chosen a teacher for the course you are interested in, you need to click on the Book Course button - after that the payment page will appear - you need to enter the bank card details and after that the full cost of the selected training course will be debited from your card. Alternatively, you can choose one lesson as a trial and pay for it. At the same time, the teacher will receive money for the course only after the end of the course, when you confirm in the "My Courses" section of the menu that the course has been completed (select "Done") and providing there are no complaints about the teacher. You can also write a review about the course in the reviews section and rate the course on a 5-point scale. If you do not like the course, then at any time you can cancel it ("Cancelled"), indicate the number of  completed lessons (hours) and send a request for a refund to the card. If you have questions for the teacher, then on our platform Intellect School online there is a chat, you can write a message to the teacher and they will definitely receive it. It should also be noted that if you are studying in the Home schooling program and have chosen an educational module, for example Profile, then, in this case, you need to find teachers in the "Courses" section marked with Intellect School Team.

 Book classes. 

Our platform has a wonderful function for automatically adjusting the time of the class schedule - if the teacher and the student are in different time zones, then the student, when choosing a class schedule, the exact time that has been automatically adjusted to the student's time zone. After the booking is complete, the student's calendar will appear on the screen, which will display all the lesson reservations - in fact, the entire class schedule for the time period.

 We would like to pay special attention to the "Pending Schedules" section. This section is intended for those cases when you paid for the course, but for one reason or another could not choose a schedule of classes convenient for you. You can do this later - at any convenient time - since it is in this section that you will find a complete list of courses and teachers for whom you have not yet chosen a suitable time and date of classes. After you do this, the list in this section will automatically change. When registering on our platform, each teacher chooses his favourite colour, which will be used to mark the dates and times of classes in the student's calendar. If the colours of different teacher’s match then just hover the mouse pointer over the label - and you will see the teacher's first and last name, as well as the name of the course and the start time of classes. As you can see, everything is simple and informative. 


Check the class calendar and the section "My courses"

After all your lessons are booked, you will be able to access the class schedule page - Calendar, in which you can find out not only the date and time of classes but also the name of the course and the teacher's first and last name (sometimes useful). But even if you suddenly forget that you have a lesson, a message will appear in your mailbox in advance - a reminder of the date and time of the beginning of classes and a link to go to the virtual class. You can see a list of all teachers in the "My Courses" section, and in this section of the menu, you can see which of them are active, which have ended and which have been cancelled. From the "My Courses" section, you can go directly to the topics studied by clicking on the "Topics" link. Both the student and the teacher have their own personal library of teaching materials. The library has various sections: electronic textbooks, tests and homework assignments. The structure of educational materials in the library allows you to quickly find a particular textbook, test or video lesson, and also decide whether to open educational material for general access or leave it available only for yourself.

How is the lesson going?

You can see the schedule of classes in the section "My calendar", before the start of each lesson, you will receive an e-mail with a link to the virtual class in which the lesson will be held, so you do not have to worry about missing a lesson. After completing each lesson, you can leave feedback about the lesson - this is important for the teacher's reputation and for his rating on the platform.

How do I refuse a teacher?

If you think that there are reasons to refuse a teacher, then in the My Courses section, select a teacher from the list and select the Cancelled option. You will be asked several questions regarding  the reason for the cancellation and the number of lessons held, then the administrator will confirm the cancellation with the teacher.

Student journal, what is there?

In the «My Journal» section you can find the following information: course title, teacher's first and last name, class schedule, homework, tests, subject grades, class topics.
